I looked, but their website does not indicate they have radar.

They certainly do - high quality digital radar, and very cost-competitive.  Not that I'm knocking your choice of Furuno, as if you can afford it - their's is probably the Rolls Royce product, but ........... money is money, and what is saved here, can be spent over there..... right?

I've been watching this thread with a great deal of interest. I've had Furuno, RayMarine,etc. over the years and for the past 2 years I have a NorthStar 6000i. Absolutely the easiest combo unit to use on the market! The digital radar and plotter are so intuitive, you just turn them on and start using. I'm not blowing smoke here,, I'm serious!
