Volume II July 2009 Newsletter

  • We are pleased to announce that Karen Anderson has joined our team in Annapolis as promotions coordinator. Karen has extensive experience working with nonprofits in Washington, D.C. - in politics, and in theater as a former member of the political satire troupe The Capitol Steps. Most recently, Karen served as assistant to the chairman of the board of Special Olympics International. At PassageMaker, she will manage promotion and marketing of Trawler Fest events around the country. Prior to joining PMM, Karen spent six months working and living aboard a 40-foot trawler in the Abacos, moored beneath the red-and-white lighthouse in idyllic Hope Town Harbour.

  • This is the final week to submit to PMM's annual Photo Contest. We're thoroughly impressed by the beautiful shots we've received from readers, but we would love to see more images from your adventures at sea. Submit photos in any of our three categories - The Boats, The People, and The Destinations - by emailing your entries to christine@passagemaker.com as soon as possible.

  • Have you noticed our new look? Our site has been redesigned and is now cleaner and easier to use. Become a member today! Registration is free and it gives you access to Web Extras and Web Exclusive articles. You'll also be able to create a personal profile and to receive this newsletter in your email inbox.
