In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the proper use of docklines, coiling and tossing techniques, how to tie a cleat hitch, and all about bowlines, clove hitches, and more.

Damage Control Workshop

Extended coastal and offshore cruisers should be familiar with damage control methods, typical failure modes, and the proper tools and repair techniques associated with controlling flooding on a vessel. This hands-on session will familiarize you with those tools and techniques and help you cope with an at-sea flooding event. You’ll also learn about the essential elements of a Damage Control Kit and come away with a basic understanding of how to use the equipment in a typical DC Kit.
