My wife, Sheila, and I have been boating on the B.C. coast since about '79. We are now 'retarded', since Apr.07, in the town of Gibsons,B.C.

Our 3rd and current boat of going on 23 years is a Palmer built in Haney, B.C.  Most of them were built as commercial fishboats-trollers or gillnetters. Ours was built as a pleasureboat.

We've kept it more of less as we bought it- Cummins V555M engine,dry stack exhaust, Dickinson diesel stove, simple electronics- and hope to spend much more time on it over the next few years.
