Trawler Fest Ft. Lauderdale was one of our most exciting shows yet. We would like to thank our returning attendees and exhibitors, as well as all the new faces. Together, you made every part of this show a success!
There were many exciting “firsts” at this event, including a brand-new carpeted exhibitor’s tent courtesy of Show Management, our sister company. And for the first time ever, we had a wait list of boats wanting to join the more than 72 exhibitor vessels at the show!
We experienced record-breaking attendance numbers with over 2,000 attendees and the turnout for the demonstrations was the largest yet.
Awards and Prizes
Evening activities in Ft. Lauderdale were quite an experience! Bob Smith, developer of Lehman Ford diesels, was presented with PassageMaker’s Lifetime Achievement Award and a video montage was played in his honor. As always, Bob delivered an entertaining speech. There was no shortage of costumes, games, and magic at Saturday’s speakeasy-themed party, MIO, a magician and mentalist, blew the crowd away with his exciting magic tricks and comedy act, leaving everyone in awe.
The new Krogen 52 was the winner of the PassageMaker People’s Choice Award.
