What technology is used for the digital version?
Answer: PassageMaker Magazine has partnered with Texterity to create the digital version of the magazine. The digital version uses Texterity’s browser-based technology, called Published Web Format (PWF), which enables subscribers to read each issue just as the magazine appears in print. The digital version has the same look and feel as the printed magazine. You’ll see the same layouts and page numbers, but you’ll have a better visual experience, with more interactivity through live links and navigation.
What am I entitled to view and search?
Answer: You can view the complete digital issue online, and you can search the issue for any topic you might be interested in. Your digital issues are archived, starting with the first issue you receive, allowing you to go back at any time to reread a particular article.
As an added benefit, you have the option to download the digital version to your computer. This allows you to take the magazine anywhere you travel and read it at your leisure. After downloading, you don’t have to worry about connecting to the web to read the digital version. The choice is yours.
Can I print articles from the digital version of PassageMaker?
Answer: Yes, however, the printed copies are for single-use only.
Can I send the digital version to friends and family?
Answer: Yes. Using the “Share” tab, you may send PassageMaker articles to friends, with a few limitations:
- You can send a selected article or the entire issue to a maximum of five friends.
- Your friends will have a “Look Inside” version, meaning they can only see the article you send, or only the first 10 pages of the issue.
- The link you send to friends or family is good for 7 days only.
- The recipient of a shared digital version of PassageMaker may not print it or share it with other friends.
