Great Loop

Our stories about Great Loop cruising can be found here. The Great Loop is a 5,000-mile route that essentially circumnavigates the East Coast of the United States, using the Intracoastal Waterway, Hudson River, Erie Canal, the Great Lakes and the Illinois, Mississippi and Tennessee Rivers. “Loopers,” as they are often called, are a true Baby Boomer phenomenon, and many of them join the American Great Loop Cruisers Association and do the Loop multiple times.
