Hurricane aftermath: Several salvaged vessels are stacked on and rafted around a barge at the ESF-10 operations intermediate holding area in Salt River Bay, St. Croix, U.S.V.I., today. The intermediate holding area is a temporary location for salvage operations to locate vessels until the vessels can be returned to their owners, or for further disposition.

In the video below a local salvage team partially refloats the sailing vessel Juyilanga on November 10, 2017, after the boat sank at the Isleta Marina in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The Maria Emergency Support Function 10 Puerto Rico Unified Command, which is comprised of the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, U.S. Coast Guard, in conjunction with the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Control Board, Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. and Fish & Wildlife Service, is working to remove vessels that have been damaged and displaced by Hurricane Maria.
