With sadness, we learned of Larry Briggs’ passing through PassageMaker's March issue. Knowing him over 30 years, to me Larry was variously my captain, boss, client, teacher, shipmate and friend. A friend of mine said it best, "he was a colorful character in an increasingly monochromatic world.”
Just last month, a 90-foot expedition yacht built for circumnavigation capsized in Anacortes. Disaster struck while Bäden was being launched.
