Coming fast on the heels of the Annapolis Sail Show, the Power Show opens its doors to show-goers today and will run through the weekend.
Now in its 44th year, the Power Show features over 300 power boats, including 60 brokerage listings, both on land and in water.
"The boats range from 8-foot inflatables to 70-foot blue water cruisers," said Paul Jacobs, president and general manager of Annapolis Boat Shows. "We have a huge assortment of every boat style imaginable; tug trawlers, downeast and picnic-style boats, weekend cruisers, not to mention a large selection of center consoles, ski boats, and fishing platforms."
According to a press release, the Power Show attracts some 40,000 attendees to their St. Mary's Cove location in historic downtown Annapolis.
Admission to the Power Show is $18 for adults; $5 for children ages 7-12; free for children 6 and younger. October 15th, billed as "VIP Preview Day," is $35 for all ages.
Two-day packages are available. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting the ticket page, or at the show gates.
"Annapolis in the fall is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with many historic sites, cobblestones, crab cakes, famous Painkillers, great restaurants, and fantastic water views. It is a great place to visit," Jacobs added.
