The smallest in their Heliotrope power cat line, Space - Grace - Pace was completed and launched in mid-September at the builder's private boat ramp.
According to a company press release, the new Heliotrope 48 is squarely aimed at the first-time owner looking for the ideal family weekender with the added capabilities for open-water cruising.
"The Heliotrope 48 offers security, comfort, and a 'touch of well-being' usually only found on larger yachts," states the release.
Bakri Cono's newest power cat is available in two layouts: an owner's three-cabin version, or the family version with an additional berth.
The crown jewel of the owner's variation is the master suite which occupies the entire port-side hull, while the family variation splits each hull into mirrored berths each with an individual head.
In typical power-cat fashion, the Heliotrope features an expansive beam, clocking in at nearly 24 feet across. The added width gain over a comparable monohull enables Space - Grace - Pace to offer 236 feet of space on the flybridge, something Bakri Cono claims is "the largest flybridge for a boat of [this] size in the world."
All of this is connected to a pair of 260 horsepower engines, making the Heliotrope 48 capable of a cruising speed between 10 and 12 knots.
