Grand Banks Yachts will display two new motoryachts at the upcoming Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which opens at the end of the week.

The main event will be the appearance of the new Grand Banks 55 Aleutian RP (pictured above). Replacing the ever-popular Aleutian 53, the 55 aims at providing cruising couples with loads of space and luxury while remaining a manageable size for couples or families to operate.

According to Stephen Fithian, HMY Yacht Sale’s Grand Banks Specialist, the move to add the additional footage came in response to strong customer demand. Standard layout on the 55 includes three generous staterooms, two full heads with ensuite showers, and an expansive utility room. The main deck features a raised pilothouse design with internal staircase to the bridge, galley and dinette; the saloon is on the same level as the large cockpit with several seating options available. According to Grand Banks, hull numbers 1 – 3 have already been sold with number four available for Spring 2015.

Also available at FLIBS will be the new 2015 Grand Banks 50 Eastbay FB.

“Following on the heels of the successful 50 Eastbay SX model introduced in 2013 is the new fantastic Grand Banks 50 Eastbay FB,” said Fithian. “This is the highly requested flybridge version which has two STIDD helm seats forward, a very comfortable L-settee with storage below aft and to port, and a teak table.”

Two new Heritage models, a 40’ and a 60’, are in the works now for fall 2015 availability. Details on these will be available soon with debuts scheduled for fall 2015.
