Love boating but hate burning all that diesel? In need of something more than a 40-foot sedan can offer but aren't ready to make that 50-foot commitment?
Look no further than Düsseldorf.
Greenline Yachts has announced the company will veil the gem of its Greenline fleet, the 48 flybridge, at the Düsseldorf Boat Show on January 18th.
Engineered and constructed by Seaway, the 48 is the first yacht in the range to offer a flybridge and is designed to be far more technologically advanced than the yachts before it. Roof mounted solar panels charge a lithium batteries which power two 14 kilowatt electric motors / 10 kW generators, making electric-diesel hybrid sailing possible.
In addition, the yacht is offered with four different Yanmar engine options up to 380-hp that can provide cruisers with a 23-knot cruising speed.
Inside the cockpit, galley, living and dining areas are seamlessly blended on one level, designed to provide an open and airy feel to owners and guests.
