This year's Newport Beach Boat Show will play host to the U.S. debut of Horizon Yachts' latest power-cruising creation, the V80 Motoryacht.
On display with Orange Coast Yachts, a Horizon preferred partner, the show opens May 14 and runs through the 17th.
With heavy focus on entertaining, the V80 features a total of five entertaining areas including a outdoor sit-down bar and BBQ on the flybridge as well as seating and lounging area on the foredeck as well as three different dining areas capable of hosting eight adults a piece.
When it comes to cruising the V80 is no slouch. Powered by a pair of 1150 hp CAT C18 engines, the V80 can cruise comfortably at 20 knots with a top end near 25.
Additional standard systems include a fire suppression system, Steelhead 2,000 lb. davit, zero speed stabilizers, bow/stern thrusters and a custom Furuno navigation system.
Horizon claims the V80 to be the perfect yacht for cruising in Alaska or the Caribbean.
"As the first Horizon V80 motoryacht in the U.S., she has been intricately designed for the market, specifically for West Coast" said Horizon Group CEO John Lu via company press release. "We know her high quality, interior fit and finish, and design features will appeal to boaters from all regions.”
