PassageMaker Announces Newest Location For TrawlerFest Event Series
TrawlerFest, PassageMaker's stand-alone event series, will see the rebirth of its New England edition with a stop in Essex, Connecticut, in the summer of 2015.
Located in a picturesque New England town on the Connecticut River, TrawlerFest-Essex will open its doors Tuesday June 2, offering a wide selection of educational seminars taught by industry leaders and continue through Sunday, June 7.
The event will also feature a shoreside expo, featuring the latest and greatest from your favorite marine vendors, and a power-cruiser centric boat and brokerage show opening Thursday June 4, and running to the end of the show.
Recently purchased by Brewer Yacht Yards, the 13-acre island offers 125 slips located just five miles from the mouth of the Connecticut River. The island marina is connected to downtown Essex via a small ferry that runs patrons back and forth across a small channel and provide easy access to shops, restaurants and other attractions.
Marina visitors have access to an Olympic-sized swimming pool, picnic area, and plenty of family recreation areas, including: volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, badminton, ping pong, bocce, and more. There is also a small restaurant on island.
Registration for the event will open in the coming weeks with more announcements and seminars to follow. For more information visit the TrawlerFest tab at www.passagemaker.com or click here.
